Tow on Demand Canada Inc. is a Toronto, Ontario–based company. Over the past several months, our team has designed, built, and tested a full eTOWS Tow and Storage Management software platform and mobile apps.

We are a Canadian-owned and operated company. We created eTOWS because we saw a clear need for modern, Canadian-built tow software designed specifically for Canadian tow companies and law enforcement agencies.

Our eTOWS platform is secure, SOC 2 compliant, and built to modern standards. It is designed to transform how tow and storage companies manage towed, stored, and impounded vehicles across their service areas. Our software is available to businesses and agencies anywhere in Canada.

Ontario Compliance and Future Enhancements

We are currently working with tow and storage businesses to confirm the need to integrate Ontario MTO-mandated forms, such as:

Consumer Rights Disclaimers

If implemented, these forms would be built directly into eTOWS. Information already entered into the system would automatically populate the required forms, saving time and reducing errors.

Tow operators would be able to:

Have customers review and sign forms on a phone or tablet
Instantly send completed documents to customers by email
Store all records securely within the eTOWS system

This would improve efficiency for both roadside staff and office teams.

Law Enforcement Personnel can track their submitted Service Requests to determine approximate estimated time of arrival once the Service Request is assigned to a Tow Operator. Law Enforcement Personnel can also cancel the Service Request and provide a reason for the cancellation if circumstances for the Service Request change, thereby clearing the Tow Operator before they arrive at the requested location. This feature provides a documented reason for the cancellation of the Service Request for review and auditing purposes by both the Law Enforcement agency, and the Tow Impound & Storage company

Law Enforcement Personnel can maintain a record of Service Requests that they have submitted within the app, this allows Law Enforcement personnel and supervisors to review and account for Service Requests submitted by their members.

Law Enforcement Personnel can open and edit Service Requests that they have submitted if circumstances change prior to the Tow Operator arriving at their location. Law Enforcement Personnel can also add to the information being collected in the Service Request, while the Tow Operator is making their way to their location, and also while the Tow Operator is on scene at the Service Request.

Law Enforcement Personnel can take pictures if they want to take an inventory of a vehicle or item that is being towed/impounded, or note any damages to the vehicle or item being towed/impounded. Law Enforcement can also note and advise the Tow Operator of special circumstances surrounding the Service Request, like Liquid/Oil Clean Up Required at the scene, this notification will allow the Tow Operator to plan and make sure that they have the required equipment prior to arrival.

FOR TOW / STORAGE / IMPOUND COMPANIES

Tow Operators can view and select Pending Service Requests from the list of Pending Service Requests to assist Tow Dispatch/Office staff with clearing Pending Service Requests.

Tow Impound and Storage staff can price and complete invoices with information entered in the app by the Tow Operator at the time of the Service Request.

Obtain Vehicle Identification Number information via the VIN barcode scanner, and by using VIN decoding functionality within the software, this will properly identify the vehicle involved in the Service Request.

Obtain Lien Holder information via the software to generate correspondence, such as vehicle/property impound owner/lien holder notification by letter, email, or text.
